I had a great time at the Craft & Hobby Association show a couple weeks ago. It’s one of the highlights of my year! I had a great time meeting up with my crafty friends, and I got to go to a fun party sponsored by FaveCrafts and several craft companies in CHA. We got an amazing swag bag, and today I want to give a swag bag to one of you! The bag was STUFFED with awesome new craft products, and one lucky reader will win everything in the bag.

I LOVE these tiny Lion Brand Yarn Bon-Bons — they are tiny little yarn balls in candy colors. They’re so cute I don’t want to use them. I just want to keep them to look at them! I also LOVE this Coats and Clark Cross Stitch iPhone case. I can customize it with whatever cross stitch design I want. Maybe a geeky design from SpriteStitch?

The Bloggers’ Lounge will be the coolest spot at the show — I will be hanging out and crafting up a fun badge make and take with some of the hottest bloggers in the craft and DIY industry! The Bloggers’ Lounge will also be a great place to score some crafty refreshments and recharge phones and tech gadgets.

The CHA Show is not open to the public, but is a trade show for the Craft and Hobby industry – members of CHA attend every January to showcase all the newest goodies in crafting. If you’re not a CHA member, don’t worry — Rhonda and I will be reporting about all our finds so you can be at the cutting edge of finding out what is new in craft (check out last year’s post). In addition, iLoveToCreate will be sharing regular updates on their blog, Facebook page, Twitter, and Youtube pages throughout the show so you can stay connected even if you’re not at the show.

Yesterday at the Craft and Hobby Association Winter Trade Show, I got to walk the floor and see a bunch of cool new products, and I even got to do a couple make and take projects like this bib necklace kit. It was fun to get crafty after a few days of walking and talking.

The LA Convention center is so huge! I have only seen about half of the exhibits so far and I have been here for 2 days. Today’s my last day to get it all in, but I probably won’t be able to. There are so many cool things to see, and a ton of eye-catching displays. These paper gowns were fabulous.

This is a close up of the ruffles on one of the dresses on the runway. The papers are beautifully patterned and foil stamped. Of course, the dresses were for display only – no wearing these paper dresses!

One of my favorite booths was the Pantone paint booth. They had super cool Pantone swatch folding chairs, and I was lucky enough to snag a gift bag in Honeysuckle (color of the year!).
