I am the room mother for my daughter’s Kindergarten class this year…thinking this would make a fun (and useful!) “treat” that is more than the usual candy and pencils! I plan to have my DD try it at home and if it proves too difficult for her to do, we may make them ahead of time instead of letting the kiddos make them at the party.

So I tried some small smooth votive candles instead. It works really well too. BTW, I found a pack of 50 tattoos in the checkout line at Walmart. The packs were in a display box. It took me over an hour of looking all over the store to find any. My local dollar stores didn’t have any either.

But my Dollar Tree only had one set of temporary tattooes and they were kind of … well, awful.

So I used a rubber stamp with Stayz-On instead! I also had my daughter use permanent marker on hers. They turned out really cute.

But I’m still on the lookout for cool temporary tattooes so I can do this the “right” way. lol.

After the decals (in the days before temporary tattoos) we dipped the top in paraffin to seal and protect the decal.
