I LOVE Target’s $ Spot, I have for years!!

I just went to one near me yesterday and found a slew of “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” goodies…coloring books, the packs with a small 24 page coloring booklet and 4 crayons and stickers, tattoos, pencils, a zippered pencil pouch, and a drinking cup. They also had a bowl and plate I didn’t get, and a small doodling notebook. My guy will be happy on Valentine’s Day :)

The trick is to check the $1 Spot every time you go, and different Targets, too. You never know what you might find!

I was in the Target Dollar Spot today and they have the cutest Snoopy and Peanuts paper containers with handles that would be great for filling with chocolates or cookies for a teacher gift. I also picked up some adorable mini-cookie tins in silver and blue (with snowflake designs).

oh Cool! I’d use the Cube for Bible class and the days of Creation. Print something for each day and cut it to size. Maybe use as a giant dice to roll and they could guess which day it is?

Either my store didn’t get any of the wooden pizzas, or they hadn’t been put out yet, or someone came and bought all of them in the first two days or so. I was so bummed because I really wanted those. Oh well. My daughter really does have tons of play food. She won’t even know I went looking for these. :)

I am so disappointed.
I went to our target tonight and they didn’t have anything of the awesomeness you posted about. I did get a cute alligator pull toy but no food, cute bags, Hello Kitty, Grinch or cookie jars at all.

I think I need to move to your area. :)

Do you remember how much most of the wooden food was priced at?
I’ve been thinking of making some felt food this Christmas but if it’s only a $1 for wooden at Target it might be worth my time.

@ann, I haven’t gotten caught taking pics yet! I’m sure some store managers wouldn’t like it and some wouldn’t care, but these days with camera phones, it’s easier to take photos, and probably a lot more common. If they asked me, I’d just tell them why I was taking pictures – for the blog! :) And of course, if they asked me to, I would cease taking pictures! :)
