the face (found at Dollar Tree) with a base color. \u00a0Let it dry.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-29782\" alt=\"step 2\" \u00a0I used Tim Holtz&#8217;s Crackle Paint in Tea Dye, but you can make your own crackle paint. \u00a0DSC has a great tutorial <a href=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/2010\/05\/make-your-own-crackle-finish-for-cheap\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Step three (optional): \u00a0Use a clear spray to seal the paint. \u00a0You could also paint over it with glue or outdoor Mod Podge.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-29785\" alt=\"DIY The Trees have eyes\"
