The only thing better is adding recycled materials to the mix. In today&#39;s project, we&#39;ve done both, and created a Glitter Duck Tape&reg; desk organizer made from recycled paper towel tubes. We&#39;re celebrating spring and Earth Month with this blingy project made from recyclables.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Spring Duck Tapes\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/duck-tape.jpg\" style=\"width: 355px; height: 480px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\n\tFor this project, we&#39;ve used Duck Tape&#39;s new Glitter Tape in pink and silver to add some bling, along with their adorable mini Duck Tape Ducklings in silver and black.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Project Materials:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\tRecycled paper tubes (paper towel, wrapping paper, etc.), on hand<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tRecycled cardboard, on hand<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tGlitter Duck Tape&reg;, about $6 a roll<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tDucklings Duck Tape&reg;, about $2 a roll<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tCoordinating colored cardstock paper, on hand or $.25 each<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tHot glue gun and glue sticks, on hand<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tScissors<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\tWhite glue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t<strong>Total: $8 and up (or use on-hand Duck Tape to reduce total cost!)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\t1. Cut a 5 x 5&quot; square piece of recycled cardboard, and cover it with silver glitter Duck Tape.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"paper tube crafts\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/paper-tube-crafts.jpg\" style=\"width: 300px; height: 400px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\n\t2. Trim four cardboard tubes to the following sizes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n\t\t2 inches tall<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t3 inches tall<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t4 inches tall<\/li>\n<li>\n\t\t5 inches tall<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Duck Tape Organizer craft\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/duck-tape-organizer-craft.jpg\" style=\"width: 400px; height: 300px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\n\t3. Cover each tube with Glitter Duck Tape&reg;. Add coordinating stripes of Duck Tape&reg; Ducklings Tape in silver and black around the top of each tube.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t4. Optional: For each tube, roll up a rectangle of colored cardstock paper and insert it into the inside of the tube.
