them, I had been looking for a way to make my own. \u00a0I think I succeeded! \u00a0Here&#8217;s how you can paint your own retro inspired ice cream bowl.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: Paint in Everlasting, $1.77<\/li>\n<li>Craft paint, on hand<\/li>\n<li>Washi tape, on hand<\/li>\n<li>White gloss glass paint\u00a0(optional), \u00a0$1.77<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Total: \u00a0$2.77 and up<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><br \/>\n<\/b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-33350 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/supplies1-580x586.jpg\" alt=\"supplies\" width=\"580\" height=\"586\" \/><br \/>\nStep one: \u00a0Paint the outside of the dish with the Chalky Finish Paint. \u00a0I did three light applications (letting each application dry before starting the next one) to achieve an even finish. \u00a0Use a wide, soft bristled brush for best results.<\/p>\n<p>Step two: \u00a0Use a pencil to lightly draw squiggly lines for the edge.<\/p>\n<p>Step three: \u00a0Mix a small amount of colored paint with some of the white Chalky Finish paint to create the other colors. \u00a0If you prefer, you can also purchase Chalky Finish paint in other colors. \u00a0I was trying to stretch my one bottle as far as possible!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" the dish, as pictured. \u00a0Paint, then repeat. \u00a0The paint dries very quickly, so after you&#8217;ve finished one color, you can tape again and repeat with the second color.<\/p>\n<p><img cream, so I used a glossy glass paint to fill in the edge. \u00a0You can omit this step if you want to leave it a flat white.<\/p>\n<p>Allow the paint to dry for 4 days, then you bake it according to the instructions on the bottle. \u00a0To be on the safe side, I hand wash my glass painted items and don&#8217;t put them in the dish washer. \u00a0They are usually fine, but sometimes over time, the heat from the drying cycle causes some of the finish to come off.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-33346 size-large\"
