You can embed little trinkets, rhinestones, or other items in the clay, and when it dries it looks like a delicious, whimsical, treat, but it&#8217;s completely permanent.<\/p>\n<p>For this project, I used <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2ifYHxc\">Mod Podge Collage Clay<\/a>, which is by far the easiest and quickest version of decoden frosting I have found. You can also <a href=\"http:\/\/superhappymuffintime.blogspot.com\/2012\/02\/deco-den-for-beginners.html\">create your own &#8220;frosting&#8221;<\/a> with silicone caulk and a decorating tube nozzle.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Supplies Needed:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Foam wreath form*<\/li>\n<li>Mod Podge Collage Clay, <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2iapehi\">white<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2ifYHxc\">pink<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Tiny ceramic tea set*<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2j57C5Q\">Resin flower cabochons<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*Items with an asterisk can be purchased at the dollar store<\/p>\n<p>I got the tiny tea set in the $1-2 dollar section at my local toy store, but you can sometimes find comparable tea sets at your local dollar store. The resin flower cabochons can be purchased from many different online places, including <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2j57C5Q\">Amazon<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ebay.com\/sch\/i.html?_odkw=flower+cabochons&amp;_sop=15&amp;_osacat=0&amp;_from=R40&amp;_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR3.TRC2.A0.H0.Xresin+flower+cabochons.TRS0&amp;_nkw=resin+flower+cabochons&amp;_sacat=0?roken2=ti.pSGVhdGhlciBNYW5u\">eBay<\/a>, and Etsy.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1: Decorate the Wreath with Pink Decoden Frosting<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-37963\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-04-580x580.jpg\" alt=\"Tea &amp; Frosting Decoden Wreath\" width=\"580\" height=\"580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-04-580x580.jpg 580w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-04-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-04-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-04.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you use Mod Podge Collage Clay, this step is very simple. Remove the lid on the pouch of collage clay, screw on your chosen frosting tip (several tips are included in the box), and start decorating.<\/p>\n<p>I chose the star tip and decided to pipe random stars of pink frosting on my wreath form.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-37964\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-05-580x580.jpg\" alt=\"Tea &amp; Frosting Decoden Wreath\" width=\"580\" height=\"580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-05-580x580.jpg 580w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-05-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-05-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-05.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you are concerned with perfection, you can practice on a scrap surface first, but remember, you will be embedding things into the collage clay later, so you can easily cover up any ugly frosting dollops. I think it&#8217;s because I got the collage clay out of my cold garage and it needed to come to room temperature first. You can solve this problem by leaving the lid on the pouch of frosting and gently kneading it for a minute or two. Or, just keep your collage clay inside your house instead of in your freezing cold garage!<\/p>\n<h3>Step 2: Fill in the Wreath with White Frosting<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-37966\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-07-580x580.jpg\" alt=\"Tea &amp; Frosting Decoden Wreath\" width=\"580\" height=\"580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-07-580x580.jpg 580w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-07-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-07-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/decoden-tea-wreath-07.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next, fill in the rest of the wreath with white frosting. As you can see, I have a few gaps in some areas of my wreath.
