and started hopping from square to square.\u00a0 It seemed perfectly fitting that we turn it into a big game of hopscotch!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Project Estimate:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">electrical tape, on hand or $1 (I found a 4-pack of colored electrical tape at my dollar store a little while back!)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">small fabric scraps (for bean bag), on hand<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div style=\"text-align: left\">dry beans, on hand<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Total:\u00a0 free and up!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1-hopscotch11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5718\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1-hopscotch11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1-hopscotch11.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1-hopscotch11-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1-hopscotch11-449x599.jpg 449w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><strong>STEP ONE:<\/strong>\u00a0 Start by creating your hopscotch board.\u00a0 I used my tiles as the squares and simply added numbers made from electrical tape.\u00a0 (Electrical tape is the perfect media for the numbers &#8212; it&#8217;s non-slip for little jumpers, you can stretch around\u00a0curves for those curvy numbers, and it peels right back off!\u00a0 I tested mine by having it up for an entire\u00a0week &#8212; and it peeled right off without leaving any residue!)\u00a0 There are many possible configurations of the numbers for hopscotch!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1around11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5719\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1around11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1around11.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1around11-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/1around11-580x435.jpg 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><strong>STEP TWO:<\/strong>\u00a0 Cut two squares of fabric for your bean bag.\u00a0 I cut mine 4&#8243;.\u00a0 Sew around, right sides together, leaving a couple inches on one side for turning and filling.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/2topstitch11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5720\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/2topstitch11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/2topstitch11.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/2topstitch11-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/2topstitch11-580x435.jpg 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><strong>STEP THREE:<\/strong>\u00a0 Turn it right side out and topstitch around the three finished sides.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/3beans11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5721\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/3beans11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/3beans11.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/3beans11-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/3beans11-580x435.jpg 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><strong>STEP FOUR:<\/strong>\u00a0 Fill with beans!\u00a0 I find that somewhere between 2\/3 and\u00a03\/4 full is just about right to get that\u00a0satisfying SMACK when you toss it!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/4close11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5722\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/4close11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/4close11.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/4close11-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/4close11-580x435.jpg 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><strong>STEP FIVE:<\/strong>\u00a0 Turn your raw edges in and topstitch the opening closed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/5beanbags11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5723\" src=\"http:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/5beanbags11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/5beanbags11.jpg 600w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/5beanbags11-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dollarstorecrafts.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/5beanbags11-580x435.jpg 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>Ta-Da!\u00a0 I made two in about four minutes &#8212;
